Overview

As a senior product designer on the App Marketplace team, I lead the exploration, conceptualization, and execution of novel features, enhancing the admin experience for managing apps & integrations. For this project, I drove designs for:

creating a new API dashboard, surfacing API failures, calls and usage patterns
redesigning the admin app management space to include critical engagement metrics such as user trends and rate limit consumption

What I Did

Collaborated closely with PM and Engineers to define project roadmap and initiatives.
Drove initial admin discovery research by synthesizing insights from previous admin studies, conducting extensive competitive analyses across 10+ marketplaces, organizing user interviews with internal and external IT admins
Facilitated empathy mapping workshops with PM to consolidate discovery research
Identified and refined refine core "Jobs to be Done," aligning project goals to proposed solutions
Designed new API Dashboard and revamped admin app management pages to include critical metrics
Led design iterations informed by external customer feedback, breaking down solutions into phased releases.

What's Next

This project is currently in implementation for Beta, November 2023. Since this work is broken out into multiple releases from August to November, we are continuously gathering feedback from our customers participating in the Beta program, to improve our analytics and designs.
